Glastonbury Event is a five-day contemporary performing arts festival held in Pilton, Somerset, England. Aside from current music, the festival also features dance, comedy, theater, circus, cabaret, and other arts.

The festival, which is regarded as a key event in British culture, is influenced by hippie ethos, 1960s counterculture, and the free-festival movement. The Green Fields region, which includes areas known as the Green Futures and Healing Field, preserves relics of these practices. After attending an open-air Led Zeppelin concert at the 1970 Bath Festival of Blues and Progressive Music, Michael Eavis organized the inaugural Pilton Festival.

Can a 16-year-old go to Glastonbury Festival?

Anyone under the age of 16 who wishes to attend the event must be accompanied by an adult.

Those aged 16 or 17 are permitted to attend the event unaccompanied, although we highly urge them to do so with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

Despite its many attractions, one of the finest aspects of Glastonbury is its welcoming, utopian atmosphere. People are simply kinder there.

However, Glastonbury 2022 tickets will cost £280 including a £5 booking charge. According to the official website, “despite inflation and the impact of two forced cancellations, every effort was made to make this increase on the 2020 ticket price of £265 as low as possible.”
