Popular Ghanaian actress, Nikki Samonas, is calling on women to take charge of their own future and not solely rely on their male partners for financial support.
In a recent interview on The Ladies Circle, Nikki emphasized the importance of women being independent and responsible in building a better future for themselves and their children.
The actress shared her personal experience of losing her rich father at a young age and never imagining herself living in the limelight. She explained that both parents have a responsibility to raise and take care of a child, regardless of the circumstances of their relationship.
Nikki pointed out the unpredictability of life and the fact that anything could happen to a man or the other partner, underscoring the importance of women being able to support themselves and their children independently. She stressed that relying too heavily on a man is not a sustainable or empowering way to live.
“It doesn’t necessarily mean him leaving, what if he dies? You need to be able to keep in mind that I want to be a responsible woman so I do not rely on the man all the time so I can do something for myself,” Nikki explained.
