Asante Kotoko, one of the powerhouses of Ghanaian football, are currently facing a tough challenge in the Premier League.

The team’s recent performance has put them at risk of falling into the dreaded relegation zone if they do not turn things around quickly.

In their latest match against Dreams FC, Asante Kotoko suffered a 2-0 defeat, extending their winless streak to six games. This disappointing result has left the team in 11th place on the league table with 33 points from 26 matches. With just one point collected out of a possible 18 points in their recent matches, the Reds are in danger of dropping into the relegation zone.

The Kumasi-based club is now only three points away from the team in 16th place, which is in the relegation zone. If Asante Kotoko fails to secure a win in their next game against Samartex FC, they could find themselves in a perilous position.

Despite the team’s current form, assistant coach David Ocloo remains confident that Asante Kotoko will bounce back and end their winless streak. The upcoming match against Samartex FC will be crucial for the club as they aim to secure valuable points and avoid slipping further down the league table.
