Ghanaian actor and agro-entrepreneur, John Dumelo, who has been a strong advocate for the agriculture sector has outlined some ways he believes would help make Ghana’s economy great again.
Taking to Twitter, the CEO of Melo farms suggested the cut down of agro-based imports and more establishments of solely owned Ghanaian manufacturing factories to export surplus of their products for the generation of money into the economy.
Agriculture has the answer to most of Ghana’s problems.

Most of our imports are agrobased. Imagine Ghana having large factories producing rice, meat products, tomatoe paste etc? There will be no need to import, we will export our surplus. It’s also important to note that these factories should be wholly Ghanaian owned.
