2Pac’s team is not taking Drake’s use of an AI-generated version of Tupac’s voice lightly.
The estate of Tupac Shakur has issued a cease-and-desist letter to Drake over his song “Taylor Made Freestyle”.
The letter, served by litigator Howard King, gives Drake 24 hours to remove the track or face legal consequences.
In the letter, the estate expresses disappointment over the unauthorised use of Tupac’s voice and calls it a violation of Tupac’s rights and an abuse of his legacy.
Drake has been given a deadline to respond to the letter. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
