The competition for the highly coveted Ghana Premier League title is heating up following the conclusion of Week 27 matches over the weekend.
Fans were treated to some thrilling games with the exception of the match between Dreams FC and Great Olympics, which was not played.
One of the standout results from the weekend was Asante Kotoko’s 1-0 victory over Samartex FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Despite the defeat, Samartex FC still find themselves at the top of the league table with 27 points.
The top four positions are currently occupied by Samartex FC, Nations FC, Aduana Stars, and Nsoatreman FC.
On the other end of the table, Karela United, Heart of Lions, and Real Tamale United are battling it out to avoid relegation.
The coming weeks are sure to be filled with intense matches as teams fight for both the title and survival in the league.
