Ghana forward Jordan Ayew assists a goal to help Crystal Palace beat Newcastle 2-0 at home

Ghanaian forward, Jordan Ayew played a crucial role in Crystal Palace’s 2-0 victory over Newcastle United in the English Premier League on Wednesday night.

The match, held at Selhurst Park, was a rescheduled Week 29 fixture.

Ayew, who featured from the start, delivered an impressive performance throughout the game. After a goalless first half, he provided the assist for Jean-Philipe Mateta to open the scoring for Crystal Palace in the 55th minute.

Mateta went on to score his second goal of the match in the 88th minute, securing a vital win for the Eagles.

With this victory, Crystal Palace earned another three points in their quest for a strong finish in the league. Ayew, who now has 4 goals and six assists in 31 appearances this season, continues to be a key player for the team.

The 32-year-old forward has been instrumental in the club’s success and will be looking to maintain his form in the remaining fixtures of the season.
