Dreams FC’s General Manager, Ameenu Shardow, has dropped a bombshell by revealing that a number of their players have attracted interest from various African clubs, with Zamalek, champions of the 2018/19 season, among those keeping a close eye on the talented individuals.

Shardow made this revelation during an interview on Citi TV on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. The news has sparked rumors about the possible departure of star players like Abdul Azziz Issah.

While Dreams FC may have suffered a disappointing 3-0 defeat to Zamalek in the semi-finals of their debut appearance, they created history by becoming the first Ghanaian team since 2004 to reach the semi-finals of a major competition.

Discussing the interest from other clubs, Shardow mentioned that talks have begun with interested parties, although they are still in the early stages. He added, “Almost the whole team have attracted interest from some clubs in Africa, but those are just conversations. After losing to Zamalek, before they left to Cairo, they left us some emails about certain players in our team.”

Fans of Dreams FC will be eagerly awaiting further developments as the club navigates these exciting opportunities for their talented players.
