Ace Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has descended on the nation’s leaders for their failure to fix the street lights on the Accra – Tema motorway.
The street lights on the motorway have not been functioning for a number of years now. Many Ghanaians who ply the road have been complaining severally about this situation yet all complaints in this regard appear to be falling on deaf ears.
Yvonne Nelson, who happens to be one of the politically and socioeconomically conscious celebrities in this country has taken to Twitter to take a swipe at the country’s leaders for their inability to fix the street lights on the motorway. She criticized the persons at the helm of the nation’s affairs for engaging in misplaced priorities. The decorated actress bemoaned the use of state funds for celebrations such as Independence Day celebrations whilst the street lights on the motorway have not been functioning for more than a decade.

I dont get it!!!! Its dark! Its really really dark on the motorway! Why cant our leaders fix street lights??? This problem has been there for more than 10years! And we use all the money for celebrations! Celebrating what? We arent even independent! 5:07AM
