Yulia Antonovna Putintseva is a Russian-born Kazakhstani professional tennis player. She is a three-time Grand Slam quarterfinalist, and she achieved her career-high singles ranking of world No. 27 in February 2017. So far, she has won two singles titles on the WTA Tour.
Yulia Putintseva was born to Anton Putintsev and Anna Putintseva, on January 7, 1995. Yulia currently resides in Boca Raton, Florida. Yulia’s father, Anton Putintsev, introduced her to sport at a tender age. She then started practicing at Spartak Club in Moscow.
Yulia Later moved to Paris to attend Mouratouglou Academy after winning a big Under 14s event in Moscow. Her favorite surface is clay, while her favorite tournaments are Australian Open and US Open.
Yulia begins her 2022 season at the Australian Open. Ranked 42, she lost in the first round to Harmony Tan. In February, she played in the Dubai Tennis Championships. She lost in the third round to world No. 7, the ninth seed, and eventual finalist, Ons Jabeur.

Ilya Putintseva is the brother of the tennis star Yulia. Yulia and her brother share the same parents. Their father is Anton Putintsev and their mother is Anna Putintseva. Just like Yulia, Ilya was also born in Moscow. The family lived together before Yulia began traveling due to her career.
