Ghanaian actress and TV host Nana Ama McBrown has been called out for ‘doing too much’ at the wedding of Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong’s daughter Mandy Ofori Sarpong.
The Kumawood actress was well received at the white wedding ceremony held on Saturday, October 7, but a single act of hers ruined the beautiful moment between the bride and the groom during their reception.
While King Promise was performing his hit song ‘Terminator’ for the couple, Nana Ama McBrown suddenly took over the stage, interrupting the performance — even though many attendees cheered her on.
But the bride was obviously unhappy about that — her facial reaction, according to social media users, was clear enough. Well, Mandy smiled later and moved on.
Social media users were quick to react and blasted the Onua TV presenter, asking her to step aside and allow the couple to enjoy the moment.
Here’s how some social media users who saw the video reacted.
“Nana Ama this is not right. Itβs not your day why make it about you? I saw how the brideβs face changed suddenly,” Instagram user @evelynopokubroni said.
“Come on Mcbrown this is so wrong, wait kakra mpo ehh? The bride clearly wasn’t happy with that and she’s right,” user @_ohemaaesther_ commented.
“Smhβ¦ McBrown be doing the most sometimes. Let the bride have her moment!” user @fit_dev_ted opined.
“I’ve been saying this and I’ll always say it, Nana Ama pre do do. Always wanna be at the center of attention. She just has to steal people’s moment and make it about herself,” user @nvv_nvvyi stated.
“Macbrown and eye-eye boi let me go before people will say I hate her,” user @esin.am added.
