Three individuals including a fresh-graduated young female soldier known as Sherri Shalom were involved in a grim accident that took their lives last Saturday at midnight in Juapong, North Tongu District of the Volta Region.
As reported, it was alleged that two other individuals who were involved in fraudulent activities best known as “game boys,” were also victims of the accident.
The accident happened at the point when the Hyundai vehicle they were traveling with collided with the back of a cargo car loaded with firewood.
Immediately the two male occupants in the front seat of the vehicle passed away.
Sherri Shalom initially survived the crash, but was found unconscious at the scene and was rushed to Akosombo Hospital for urgent medical attention. Sadly, she caves into her injuries the next day despite all medical efforts.
The tragic incident has left the community in mourning, highlighting the dangers of road accidents and the devastating impact they can have on families and communities. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident to determine the cause and prevent similar tragedies in the future.
