A worried netizen who has been identified on ‘X’ as Kofi Ntim has expressed his concern about the well-being of Ghanaian rapper Nana Wiafe Asante Mensah, known in showbiz as Asem.
In an ‘X’ post sighted by Ghanafuo.com, the famous rapper could be seen giving a freestyle of his remix of ‘Wotowoto Seasoning’ by Odumodublvck ft Black Sherif. The netizen upon watching the said video took to his ‘X’ page on Saturday, January 13, 2024, to show his concern about his well-being.
According to him, the rapper does not look well to him, hence, he needs the attention of loved ones and relatives, adding that people lose to the rapper to check up on him. Sharing the said video he wrote; “You people for check up on Asem. The guy dey look like he dey go through am waaa”

It could be recalled that in February 2018, the rapper was in the news after revealing that he has been through a lot in the past years.
Asem who is currently in New York, USA, where he has been residing for several years now appears to have put his music career on hold as he focuses on other things.
The artiste, however, in an ‘X’ post in 2018 suggested that he is not having things easy, saying he has been through a lot in the past few years. In the said post, he said many people would not believe it if he told them what he had been through.
