The widow of the late Christian Atsu Twasam, Marie-Claire Rupio who happens to be the mother of his three children has penned down a touching tribute to her late husband as he is being laid to rest today, Friday, March 17, 2023.
The late Christian Atsu was one of the over 50,000 people who passed away in a deadly earthquake in Turkiye. He went missing for days and his lifeless body was discovered on February 18 on Saturday. His body was flown from Turkey to his family in Ghana on 20 February. A military procession was held in his honour.
Currently, Ghanaians are observing the state-assisted funeral rites of Christian Atsu Twasam.
Marie-Claire Rupio’s tribute to her husband is no doubt a touching one. According to her, she loves her late husband both in life and in death. “In life, I love you dearly. In death, I do the same. It breaks my heart to lose you. You are not alone” She said in her tribute.
“You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure” she added.
