Ghanaian actor John Peasah, who is popularly known as Drogba from the famous YOLO series, has opened up about the challenges he is facing due to his health struggles. In a recent Instagram video, Drogba revealed that his health condition is “very complicated” and sometimes affects his ability to speak.
He shared that he has been experiencing difficulties in breathing and speaking, making it hard for him to communicate effectively. Drogba also mentioned that his doctors advised against taking pictures, which is why he has not been updating his fans about his health journey.
The actor expressed his frustration with the complexity of his condition, stating, “I can’t explain how I feel. At times, my speech becomes a problem; it’s off.” He also revealed that he experiences pain in his back and has to take medication to manage it. Drogba added that he does light exercises to ease the pain but avoids intense workouts as they can trigger other issues like neck tremors or shaking in his hand.
Since being diagnosed with a life-threatening Demyelinating disease earlier this year, Drogba has been seeking treatment for over two years. He has reached out to the public for support to aid in his recovery process. Those who wish to contribute to his treatment can donate to his Access Bank account under the name John Bredu Peasah with account number 0441628321091 or send funds via MoMo to 0501203871 and 0535934031 with the name John Bredu Peasah.
Fans and well-wishers have been rallying behind Drogba, offering words of encouragement and financial assistance to help him overcome his health challenges. The actor remains optimistic and determined to fight his illness with the support of his loved ones and the community at large.
