Yaa Pono

A Facebook user by name Ricky Rick has debunked reports that suggested that Shatta Wale demanded money before he will perform at the Tribute concert of Ebony Reigns.

According to him, it is rather Yaa Pono who called Ruff Town Records boss, Bullet and demanded for explanation as to why his image has been used to promote a show without his consent.

The Facebook user indicated that there was confusion during the call and that triggered the move by Bullet to vent on social media.

The Facebook user wrote

THE HIDDEN TRUTH
After all fingers
pointed at controversial Dancehall artist Shatta Wale following Bullet’s subtle
Facebook post describing a particular Ghanaian artist as a
“Hypocrite” (for refusing to perform at EBONY’S TRIBUTE CONCERT for
Free), i hopped into my investigate wheels.
THE RESULTS
– Shatta Wale hasn’t
even been contacted because of hostile relationship between himself and
Rufftown Records (Bullet)
– Yaa Pono (who was
listed as part of performing artists) called Rufftown Records to question why
his name/image was included in the event (flyer) without his consent.
– There was an
altercation during the phone conversation which seemed to have
“angered” Bullet leading to his Facebook rant.

– Pono Biom during
the late Ebony’s one-week memorial service performed Gbee Naabu to which he was
“called to order”
