Ashley Howard, Xavien Howard’s older sister, was convicted of felony murder in connection with a deadly car crash and high-speed police chase that happened nine years ago after she and a companion stole clothing from a Macy’s department store in a Houston mall. Ashley Howard is currently imprisoned.
She expressed sincere remorse to the victims throughout her trial, but in 2016, she was convicted and given a 35-year sentence. Xavien Howard currently assists in caring for his sister’s son.
