Chinese tennis player Wu Yibing has reached his greatest heights in tennis.
In the singles category, he peaked at No. 173 on August 8, 2022, and in the doubles category, he peaked at No. 295 on April 23, 2018. He is presently China’s No. 2 player.

Following his victory in the boys’ singles match at the 2017 US Open, he rose to the top of the ITF Juniors rankings.
Wu competed for China in the 2017 Davis Cup, posting a 1-0 win-loss record. In his debut Davis Cup match, he triumphed over Jason Jung.
Wu won his first ATP match against Li Zhe at the Shanghai Masters in October 2018. He defeated Kei Nishikori in the second round, taking the opening set.
He captured three Challenger championships in the US in 2022, including consecutive victories in Indianapolis and Rome, Georgia, in July. As a result, on July 25, 2022, he rose to No. 174 in the top 200, his career best. He was the most decorated Chinese player in the history of the circuit thanks to his four Challenger championships in his whole career.
In order to play in his first Grand Slam, he qualified for the US Open.
By winning his last qualification match before Zhang Zhizhen also won him, he became the first male Chinese to qualify for the US Open in the Open Era.
