Women’s premier league and FA cup finals set for June 8 at University of Ghana stadium

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is gearing up for an exciting doubleheader event as they announce the date for the grand finale of the Women’s FA Cup and the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League 2023/24 season.
 
 
 
The event is scheduled to take place on June 8, 2024, at the University of Ghana Stadium in Legon.
 

Football fans can expect a thrilling match between Army Ladies and Police in the Women’s FA Cup final, with both teams securing their spots after defeating Epiphany Warriors and Supreme Ladies in the semi-finals.

Army Ladies FC emerged victorious with a 2-1 win against Epiphany Warriors, while Police Ladies FC secured their spot in the final by beating Supreme Ladies FC 3-1 in the semi-final match.

Additionally, the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League final will see the winners of the Northern Zone and Southern Zone face off to determine the overall league champion.

Hasaacas Ladies FC, with four league titles under their belt, has been a dominant force in women’s football in Ghana. They clinched victory in the 2020/21 season by defeating Ampem Darkoa with a commanding 4-0 win.

The upcoming finale promises to be an exciting event for football enthusiasts as they witness the battle for supremacy in both the Women’s FA Cup and the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League.
