A Malaysian woman, known as Afieqahhasanah on TikTok, has shared her shocking experience of betrayal in a video that has gained over 2.9 million views.
In the video, she details how she entrusted her friend to take care of her baby, only to later discover that the friend had been secretly breastfeeding the child behind her back.
The incident allegedly occurred during a family gathering earlier this month when Afieqahhasanah was occupied with event planning.
To her dismay, she noticed her friend engaging in the act of breastfeeding her baby in an open hall without her knowledge.
When confronted, the friend justified her actions by claiming the baby was crying and in need of food. However, Afieqahhasanah found this explanation suspicious as she had recently fed her child.
What makes matters worse is that this was not the first time the friend allegedly breastfed Afieqahhasanah’s son without consent.
Her mother had caught the friend repeating the act on a separate occasion. Afieqahhasanah now struggles to trust others with her children and is haunted by the incident.
Breastfeeding someone else’s baby without consent poses health risks, as it can expose the infant to potential contaminants and medications.
While informal milk sharing is gaining popularity, organizations like the American Academy of Pediatrics discourage it due to the potential dangers.
