Over 159,000 text messages, some of which threatened violence and dismemberment, were exchanged between a Phoenix woman and a man she had only ever gone on a date with before she was arrested in the spring of last year.

According to authorities, 31-year-old Jacquelyn Ades bombarded the victim with 65,000 texts over a ten-month period before being arrested in May 2018 on charges of stalking and criminal trespassing.

The amount of missives—many of which were sadistic in nature—was more than double that, according to data released by The Arizona Republic, which has examined police reports and recorded police interviews.

Through the dating website Luxy, which markets itself as a dating service for millionaires, Ades, a Florida-licensed beautician, met the anonymous victim, who was only revealed to be the CEO of a skincare product company based in the Scottsdale area.

According to records, the man and Ades went out once, but he had no interest in continuing their connection. That didn’t stop the woman from messaging him—up to 500 texts a day at times.

In July 2017, the businessman saw Ades parked outside his Paradise Valley property and called the police.

After a while, Ades supposedly started sending the person she seemed to be obsessed with a lot of menacing texts, one of which included, “I’d make sushi outta ur kidneys n chopsticks outta ur hand bones.”

“I’d wear ur fascia n the top of ur skull n ur hands n feet,” read a scary text. Muscles and organs are surrounded by a thin layer of fibrous tissue called fascia.

The third threatening letter said, “Oh, what would I do with your blood!” I want to take a bath in it.

According to Ades’ arrest transcript, the woman was “exhibiting symptoms of mental illness.”

During a remote video review of his home security system in April 2018, the victim noticed Ades. When police arrived at the house, they discovered the 31-year-old lady bathing in the man’s tub.

A big butcher knife was discovered on the passenger seat of Ades’ automobile when the police searched it.

Ades was arrested in Phoenix after posing as his wife and showing up at the man’s Scottsdale business in May.

Ades told police that “something came over her” when she sent the threatening texts, indicating that she had no intention of injuring the man after being taken into jail.
