Accra Lions head coach, Ibrahim Tanko, was all smiles on Monday following his team’s impressive victory over Bibiani Gold Stars.
In a post-match interview, Tanko expressed his satisfaction with the crucial three points his team secured.
“Getting these points was crucial for us, especially considering where we stand on the table. The boys really put in a great performance. We created numerous chances and coming out with a 2-0 win against Bibiani is a fantastic result for us,” said Coach Ibrahim Tanko.
Tanko also acknowledged that his team has been facing challenges with scoring goals. He assured fans that they will be working hard in training to improve their goal-scoring abilities in future matches.
“Scoring two goals against a strong team like Bibiani Gold Stars is no easy feat. We will continue to put in the work to enhance our scoring capabilities,” Tanko emphasized.
