Willis Reed Jr. was an American professional basketball player, coach, and general manager.
He was born to his parents on June 25, 1942, in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, United States but sadly passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, aged 80.
He played from 1964 to 1974 and spent his entire professional playing career with the New York Knicks. In 1982, he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. In 1996, he was voted among the “50 Greatest Players in NBA History”.
