Williamson Wick Murray was an American history specialist and creator. He composed various chips away at history and vital investigations and filled in as a proofreader on different activities broadly. He was a teacher emeritus of history at Ohio State College from 2012 until his passing.
Murray finished his auxiliary training in 1959 at Berkshire School in Sheffield, Massachusetts. He went to Yale College, graduating in 1963 with distinction ever.

Dr. Murray’s marriage to Marjorie Foster ended in divorce. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Lesley Smith; a son and daughter from his first marriage, and five grandchildren.
Williamson Murray was born on Nov. 23, 1941, in Manhattan. His father worked as a salesman, and his mother was a homemaker.
He graduated in 1963 from Yale College with a set of experiences degree and afterward served in the Air Power until 1969, remembering a visit to Southeast Asia with the 314th Strategic Transport Wing. He got back to Yale and procured a Doctorate in military and political history in 1975.
Following graduation, he filled in as an official in the US Flying corps for quite some time. He was relegated to deployment in Southeast Asia with the 314th Strategic Transport Wing working C-130s.
Following his tactical help he got back to Yale as an alumni understudy in the Branch of History, and in 1974 procured his Ph.D. in military-strategic history.
Dr. Murray showed in Yale’s set of experiences division for a very long time. In 1977, he took a situation at Ohio State College as a teacher of military history and related subjects.
He was a senior individual at the Maritime Conflict School from 1991 to 1992 and resigned from Ohio State in 1995, taking the title of teacher emeritus.
He went on the address at the Marine Corps College in Quantico, Va., and at the Military Conflict School in Carlisle, Dad., during the last part of the 1990s.
