A native of Paris who also studied at New York City’s Lee Strasberg Theater Institute. William was given a Lifetime Membership to the Actors Studio in 2000 as a thank-you.
Two years later, his own Off-Broadway production of Dennis McIntyre’s Modigliani (2002) received positive reviews from The New York Times theater reviewer Anita Gates during its entire run.
As soon as he attained this accomplishment and was able to attract established representation, his professional film and television career in the United States got underway.
