William Robert Jolyon Turnbull was a British journalist and radio personality who subsequently worked as a presenter for Classic FM after many years with the BBC.
He was born on 25th January 1956 and sadly passed on 31 August 2022. He died of prostate cancer at age 66.
From 2001 until 2016, he was the principal male presenter of BBC Breakfast, as well as the devotional programme Songs of Praise and the quiz show Think Tank.

Bill is survived by his spouse Sarah McCombie and three adorable children. Will Turnbull was born in October 1989. Will will turn 33 in October. His 2 siblings are Henry Turnbull and Flora Turnbull.
Will’s parents had resided in Buckinghamshire but moved to Rainow, Cheshire in 2012 after BBC Breakfast relocated to Salford.
