Elon Musk’s probable takeover of Twitter has Donald Trump supporters salivating once more at the prospect of the former president’s return, but Trump swears he has no interest in tweeting again.
Following the rioting in the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, Trump was banned from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and all other major social media networks.
Trump has recently developed his own social media platform, Truth Social, but it has been plagued by technical issues and significant management departures.
Does Elon Musk support Trump?
They don’t appear to be close pals.
Musk stated in November 2016, on the night of Trump’s election victory over Hillary Clinton, that he does not feel Trump is the proper person for the White House.
Will Donald Trump be back on Twitter when Elon Musk buys the platform?
“I probably wouldn’t have any interest [in returning to Twitter if Musk owned the company],” Trump told Americano Media on Wednesday.
“It used to be a war on Twitter, but it was a very entertaining conflict,” Trump continued.
