Per a jury’s decision to give Depp $5 million in compensatory damages, state regulations limit that amount to $350,000.

When Heard’s reward of 2 million is deducted from Depp’s total, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor is left with $8.35 million.

It appears Amber’s deal with L’Oreal didn’t interest the jury who handled the case.

She gets to keep her real with the French firm.

The jury determined that Heard defamed Depp in the title of his Washington Post op-ed, which stated, “I came out against sexual assault and faced the fury of our culture. That must change.”

The jury also determined that Depp was defamed again in his second claim against Amber Heard in the headline of her Washington Post op-ed, which stated: “Then two years ago, I became a public figure representing domestic violence, and I felt the full weight of our culture’s anger for women who speak out.”

 

The jury determined that Heard defamed Johnny Depp in her Washington Post op-ed, writing: “I had the unusual vantage point of observing, in real-time, how institutions shield individuals accused of violence.”
