Wilfred Machage was a Kenyan High Commissioner to Nigeria.
He was initially elected to the Kuria Constituency as a Member of Parliament in 2002 and served three terms.
Between 2013 through 2017, he was also Migori County’s first Senator.
He also served as Cabinet Minister for East African Community Affairs and Assistant Minister of Home Affairs in the Vice President’s office.
Machage died at the age of 65. He retired from active politics in 2020 to focus on his new responsibilities as a diplomat.
