Tony Adams, 55, is an English football manager and former professional player who began his career as a schoolboy signing for Arsenal in 1980. He was born in Romford and grew up in Dagenham.
Three years later, he was promoted to the senior team, where he remained for the next 19 years. Adams is widely regarded as one of the best Arsenal players of all time and was named one of the Football League’s 100 greatest players.
