Romelu Lukaku has dropped a shocking revelation by admitting he is dissatisfied with his job under Thomas Tuchel, giving the Chelsea manager another more issue.

In words that surprised club insiders last night, the £97.5million striker says he is ‘not satisfied’ with his role in the German head coach’s first-team plans.

“Physically, I am doing well,” claimed the Belgium international in an interview with Sky Sport Italy. “But I’m dissatisfied with the scenario at Chelsea. Tuchel has opted to employ a different system.”

Lukaku’s remarks could not have come at a worse moment for Tuchel, whose club is in the middle of a frightening slump that has seen them fall behind league leaders Manchester City.

Tuchel stated earlier this month that Lukaku had not fully acclimated to English football following his move from Italy in the summer, implying that the Chelsea manager was not wholly content with his star striker’s contribution.

However, the former Manchester United star appears to have cleared the way for a return to Milan, saying: “I think all that occurred last summer was not meant to happen like this… how I left Inter, the manner I left the club, how I discussed it with Inter fans – this upsets me because it was not the right moment.”
