Fans of The View were left wondering why the popular talk show was not on air on Monday, April 22, 2024.
This isn’t the first time the cast of The View has taken a hiatus, as they recently took a break during the Spring of 2023 as well.
In celebration of its 25th Anniversary, The View was broadcast from the Bahamas, which was a special treat for both the hosts and viewers alike. However, the show is currently off the air for the rest of the week following its April 22, 2024 hiatus.
The ladies are taking a scheduled Spring break, and reruns of previous episodes will be airing throughout the week in lieu of new episodes. The View is expected to return with new episodes on Monday, April 29.
This recent hiatus is not the first time The View cast members have taken a break from the Hot Topics table. The cast members went on a brief hiatus for Spring break in April 2024, which was due to the cast members going on vacation. During their absence, fan-favorite reruns of the show have been playing throughout the entire month.
Before their July 2022 hiatus, The View also aired from the Bahamas in celebration of the program’s 25th anniversary.
However, fans were quite upset with the news of reruns scheduled for the week of the anniversary celebration, as they were hoping to catch new episodes instead.
