After Gianni Infantino claimed that he was teased as a child for having red hair and freckles, an old photograph of him has surfaced online.
Infantino earlier last month equated the persecution of people for their sexuality, colour, ethnicity, employment, or disability to his experience of being tormented because of his hair.
His remarks follow criticism of Qatar by a number of nations for hosting the World Cup, including charges of modern slavery, sportswashing, the deaths of migrant workers, insulting attitudes toward the LGBTQ+ community, and a plethora of other issues.
