The original cast of Dance Moms is set to reunite for a highly anticipated TV special, five years after the show concluded.
However, fans will notice one key figure missing from the reunion: Abby Lee Miller. Miller, known for her controversial teaching methods and tough love approach on the show, will not be participating in Dance Moms: The Reunion.

The source revealed, “At this point everyone has gone through different eras, had time to reflect and there’s been a lot that Abby put them through emotionally and physically and they just didn’t want to relive that.” The absence of Miller allowed the girls to speak more freely about their experiences on the show.
In addition to Abby Lee Miller, other original cast members will also be missing from the reunion special. Fan favorites Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler, as well as Nia Sioux, have opted not to participate. The reasons for their absence have not been publicly disclosed. Similarly, Chloe Lukasiak’s mother, Christi Lukasiak, will not be attending due to prior commitments.
