Game of Thrones is an HBO fantasy drama television series developed by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. It is based on George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire trilogy, the first of which is A Game of Thrones.

The show was shot in the United Kingdom, Canada, Croatia, Iceland, Malta, Morocco, and Spain. It started on HBO in the United States on April 17, 2011, and concluded on May 19, 2019, with 73 episodes shown across eight seasons.

Game of Thrones includes a big ensemble cast and covers various story arcs throughout the program, which is set on the mythical continents of Westeros and Essos.

Why did Daenerys go to Meereen in ‘Game of Thrones’?

Unlike her previous Ghiscari conquests, Daenerys decides to stay in Meereen and establish herself as queen, using the Great Pyramid as her seat. This is because she receives word at this time that Cleon, a tyrant butcher, had ousted her ruling council in Astapor, resulting in tremendous suffering.

Why did Daenerys leave Daario in Meereen?

After defeating the Second Siege of Meereen, Daenerys prepared to sail to Westeros, but she decided to leave Daario in the Bay of Dragons in order to maintain peace.

Including Daario in the final two seasons would’ve been fascinating, as he could’ve arrived with additional warriors or mercenaries to aid Dany in her fight against the White Walkers or for the Iron Throne.

Dany may have been desperate after losing a significant portion of her Dothraki warriors in the Battle of Winterfell and had no choice but to seek reinforcements from beyond the Narrow Sea. Daario’s involvement may have also resulted in a love triangle between him, Dany, and Jon.
