Maria Chike Agueze, known popularly as Maria, has been reportedly detained in Ghana after she touched down in the West African country.
This was revealed by a Twitter user who has been identified as Gift.
According to Gift, Maria has been detained at a hotel in Ghana which smells against her will.

As per the accounts of the Tweep who revealed the detention of the former BBNAija house. She claims that Maria was arrested by authorities in Ghana for breaking Coronavirus laws.
She added that Maria is being extorted by the authorities over a fake coronavirus test result and kept in quarantine for a long time even though she has other important things to attend to.
Meanwhile, Maria has been responding to the reports of her arrest in Ghana. She wrote on Instagram about her disappointment in the happenings in Ghana.
‘To say I’m disappointed, upset, hurt, and humiliated by the system is an understatement. Please don’t make me lose my cool. Won’t pretty please’. Maria wrote.
