Shuhada Sadaqat’s given name Sinéad Marie Bernadette O’Connor is a shaved female singer.

The Lion and the Cobra, her debut album, was released in 1987 and charted internationally. Her second album, I Do Not Want What I Don’t Have, was released to rave reviews and went on to become her biggest success, selling over seven million copies worldwide.
The Billboard Music Awards named its lead single, “Nothing Compares 2 U” (written by Prince), the number one world single in 1990.

She has ten studio albums to her credit: Am I Not Your Girl? (1992) and Universal Mother (1994) both went gold in the United Kingdom, Faith and Courage (2000) went gold in Australia, and Throw Down Your Arms (2005) went gold in Ireland.

Her work also includes film songs, collaborations with numerous other musicians, and appearances at charity fundraising concerts. Her memoir Rememberings was a best-seller in 2021.
