Meet Laurene Powell Jobs
Born in 1963, Laurene Powell Jobs grew up in West Milford, New Jersey. She earned a Bachelor of Science in economics from the Warton School of the University of Pennsylvania as well as a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Pennsylvania.
Later, she went on to Stanford to get her master’s degree, which is when she met her future spouse.
Powell Jobs attended a talk by Steve Jobs that was held at Stanford in 1989. Following the conversation, the two decided to go out to dinner together. A year later, they got married.
After having Reed as their first child in 1991, the pair then had Erin in 1995 and Eve in 1998. Lisa Brennan-Jobs, Steve Jobs’ first child from a previous relationship, has Powell Jobs as her stepmother.
