Who was Alain Delon’s love of his life Romy Schneider?

Actress Romy Schneider was German-French (born Rosemarie Magdalena Albach; 23 September 1938 – 29 May 1982). She began her career in the German Heimatfilm subgenre at the age of 15 in the early 1950s.

She created the part of Empress Elisabeth of Austria in the Austrian Sissi trilogy from 1955 to 1957, and from 1959 to 1970, she reprised the role in Luchino Visconti’s Ludwig in a more mature rendition (1973).

After going to France, Schneider collaborated with some of the most well-known film filmmakers of the era to create well-liked and successful motion pictures.

Romy Schneider’s cause of death

Schneider started drinking too much alcohol as soon as her son died. Schneider had allegedly stopped drinking at the time of her death, and according to her close friend Claude Pétin, who is also Laurent Pétin’s sister, she was certain it was a natural death.

Schneider’s body was found at her Paris flat on May 29, 1982. The investigating magistrate Laurent Davenas determined that cardiac arrest was the direct cause of her death. Schneider’s cardiac arrest, according to Claude Pétin, was caused by a weak heart brought on by a renal operation she received months before.
