Kirshnik Ball, better known as Takeoff in the music business, was a member of the hip-hop trio The Migos with partners Quavo and Offset.

Kirshnik Ball was always interested in music as a youngster. Beginning in seventh school, he began screaming out amazing beats and developing distinctive rhythms.

Friends and relatives saw his inherent ability when he played in gatherings or at school in spontaneous performances, but he had no idea he would pursue music as a career at the time.

His uncle, Quavious Keyate Marshall, and cousin Kiari Kendrell Cephus, who were struck by his natural skill, approached him in 2009 to establish this hip-hop trio. Ball agreed, and the three of them founded the Polo Club organization. Quavious changed his name to Quavo, Kiari to Offset, and Krishnik to Takeoff.
