Ghanaian comedian DKB has been taken on by Twitter trolls for branding himself as a celebrity in Ghana.
On Friday (October 22), the comedian, who has been called a joke for years due to his unfunny comic stage performances and skits, took to his Twitter platform to declare himself a celebrity.
He was reacting to Shatta Wale and Medikal’s recent arrests by the Police force when he tweeted: “I don’t want to be a celebrity in Ghana again!”
Some Twitter users immediately took him on and gave it to him from left, right, and centre.
“Are you a celebrity….I never knw,” a Twitter user said.
He was told point-blank that having a verification badge doesn’t make one a celebrity in Ghana.
“Being verified doesn’t make you a celebrity bro. Please relax your big head on a pillow,” a user said.
Another user: “Who said u are one??”
A user said nobody in the country recognises him as a celebrity in Ghana.
“Nobody in Ghana sees you as a celebrity. Ebe you they give your body that celebrity title,” the user stated.
Another added: “And who regards you as a celebrity in gh? See most of us see you as a wanna bee celeb ooo, so don’t get it twisted when radio n TV stations interview you.”
DKB hasn’t been able to respond to any of the trolls due to the magnitude of the trashing.
