Latasha Kendrick, the mother of Yak Gotti, was detained this week after attempting to bring rolling papers into the Fulton County courtroom, according to WSB-TV.
After reportedly bringing papers and tobacco items into the courtroom where her son is on trial, Kendrick, 51, was arrested and charged with one count of criminal attempt to commit a misdemeanor. She was then taken to the Fulton County Jail.
In the broad RICO indictment, which also names Young Thug and other Young Stoner Life Records artists, her son is one of the 14 defendants. Numerous charges have been brought against Gotti, including the 2015 murder of Donovan “Nut” Thomas Jr.
