Michel Côté OC MSC was a Canadian actor who lived from June 25, 1950, until May 29, 2023.  He is best known for his roles in the films Cruising Bar, Life After Love (La vie après l’amour), and C.R.A.Z.Y., as well as the stage production Broue and television series Omertà.

He did not set out to be an actor when he was born in Alma, Quebec, but began doing amateur theatrical parts as part of his university studies and then enrolled at the National Theatrical School of Canada.

Véronique Le Flaguais (born November 30, 1947, in Paris, France) is a French actress who has appeared in a number of Canadian films. She was nominated for a Genie Award for her supporting role in Surviving My Mother, Rumeurs, Jesus of Montreal (Jésus de Montréal), Cruising Bar, and Cruising Bar 2.

Côté portrayed the lead in the 1990 film Cruising Bar, for which he received a Genie Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role.

He also portrayed the lead in the film C.R.A.Z.Y., for which he won a Genie in the same category in 2005. In 2008, he resurrected his Cruising Bar characters in the sequel film Cruising Bar 2, for which he was nominated for a Jutra Award for Best Actor at the 11th Jutra Awards.
