She is a priestess of the god R’hllor, also known as the Lord of Light or the Red deity, and a close ally of King Stannis Baratheon in his attempt to steal the Iron Throne. She is an Essos native. The second child of Lord Steffon Baratheon and Lady Cassana Estermont, Stannis is the younger brother of the late King Robert Baratheon and the older brother of Renly Baratheon.
