Josh Sanders, hailing from North Carolina, comes from a family of musicians and learned to play guitar during his formative years. A devoted husband and father of five, Josh and his wife Kendra have experienced the heartbreaking loss of their son, who passed away on the day he was born. Finding solace in music, Josh has channeled his emotions into his performances on The Voice.
During the Blind Auditions, Josh wowed the judges with his rendition of Nate Smith’s Whiskey On You, leading Reba McEntire and Dan + Shay to turn their chairs for him. Opting to be mentored by Reba, Josh has remained on her team throughout the competition.
