Gina Miles made history on The Voice’s season 23 when she was announced as the winner in May 2023. The 19-year-old from Paxton, Illinois wowed the judges with her rendition of Wicked Game by Chris Isaak, ultimately choosing to compete as part of Niall Horan’s team. Gina, who credits her father’s DJing career as her inspiration for pursuing music, continued to impress both judges and audiences throughout the season.

Following her win, Gina signed a record deal with Universal Music Group subsidiary Republic Records. She performed the national anthem at a firefighter graduation in Sacramento, California, and also opened for Grammy award-nominee Jewel at The Venue at Thunder Valley. Gina even returned to her hometown of Paxton, Illinois for a homecoming gig at The Cadillac.

As she works on her debut album, Gina hinted that her own experiences will shape the music. She expressed her excitement at having new creative inspirations to draw from, turning her EP from storytelling to a diary of her life.

The Voice season 24 saw Virginia native Michael Huntley take home the crown after impressing all four coaches during his audition. The singer-songwriter country artist from Fredericksburg, Virginia, who goes by the stage name Huntley, was overwhelmed with emotion as he was announced as the winner. Huntley’s performance of Creed’s Higher during the season finale helped secure his victory, showcasing his unique blend of southern blues rock ‘n’ roll.
