On June 1, 2005, ABC broadcast the premiere of the American dance competition television series Dance with the Stars. The American version of the UK show Strictly Come Dancing, it is one of several Dancing with the Stars iterations.

For seasons two through nine, ten through seventeen, and eighteen through twenty-eight, they kept doing this. Tyra Banks hosted the program from seasons 29 through 31. Alfonso Ribeiro began serving as a co-host in season 31. Ribeiro took over as the primary host in season 32, and Julianne Hough debuted as a brand-new co-host.

The show’s 30th season, which ran from September to November of 2021, was broadcast. The 31st season of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars will premiere on Disney+, it was confirmed on April 8, 2022. According to a May 2, 2023 statement, the show’s 32nd season will premiere in September 2023 and will air live on ABC and Disney+ at the same time.
