Mr Zuma’s corruption saga and prison sentence could be the reason why he has searched most on Google.
The death of South African rapper Mpura and actor Ace Magashule, and legendary Kwaito star Bonginkosi “Zola 7” Dlamini and 32-year-old South African DJ, Prince Kaybee made the top five.
Google Year in Search is an annual list that highlights the most searched topics under the year in review.
It largely derives its yearly list from its new trending vertical Google Trends.
