Renowned cowboy Spencer Wright and his wife Kallie Wright, a professional barrel racer, tied the knot in May 2018. Together, they have built a successful rodeo family with three children – daughter Steely, son Levi, and another child born in August 2023.
Spencer, a World Champion in Saddle Bronc Riding, comes from a family of cowboys, including his brothers Jesse and Cody Wright who have also achieved great success in rodeo competitions.
Tragically, in 2024, the Wright family faced a devastating incident. On May 21, their three-year-old son Levi was involved in a near-drowning accident when he drove his toy tractor into a river in Beaver County, Utah. Kallie found Levi unconscious, pulled him out of the river, and rushed him to the hospital. Despite their efforts, Levi was declared brain dead.
Family friend Mindy Sue Clark shared an emotional update on social media, stating that Levi’s parents are making end-of-life preparations as they come to terms with the heartbreaking reality that their young son is not expected to survive.
Spencer and Kallie are asking for privacy and prayers during this difficult time as they prepare to say goodbye to their beloved son. The rodeo community and fans are rallying behind the Wright family, offering support and condolences during this unimaginably challenging period.
