Sandra Diane Seacat was the first of three daughters born to Lois Marion Seacat (née Cronic) and Russell Henry Seacat of Greensburg, Kansas, on October 2, 1936. Despite the spelling, Sandra’s first name is pronounced somewhere between “Sondra” and “Saundra.”
After graduating from Northwestern University, Seacat moved to New York and eventually gained admission to The Actors Studio.
There, she became well-versed in the Lee Strasberg-espoused method acting school and eventually became the director of the Studio. Under her married name Sandra Kaufman, Seacat started to appear in city theater productions in the 1960s.
Who is Sandra Seacat’s husband Michael Ebert?
A Swiss national, born in Sorengo on January 15, 1935. Sandra Seacat’s (1972–1988) ex-husband filed for divorce.
Emidio La Vella and Phil Harper, two of the remaining supporting cast members, were both Seacat students. In 1990, the latter would become Seacat’s first post-ITS coaching customer. Additionally, Thurn Hoffman, who is currently Seacat’s husband, was making his film debut here.
The next projected appearance for Seacat is in Gia Coppola’s feature film debut, Palo Alto (2013), which is still in pre-production and is based on short tales by James Franco.
